Latin Guitar

Last night I went to a concert.

A latin guitar concert.

Yes, in Muscatine.

And it was free.

The artist is David Burgess.

He's pretty talented.

And he was telling stories about all the songs he played.

Fun in Milwaukee

I experienced failure when it came to taking pictures

of the four revelers,

but we sure had a fun time in Milwaukee.

Waaay back. Almost 4 months ago.

I like to bring back the good memories, see?

And look forward to more, since I'll be in MKE again.

And soon.

MKE with Jax, Mex, and Jenx was quite fun.

We did things other than see the Globetrotters.

Like eat at Jax's Great Cafe.

These were poffertjes.

(and yes, I did cheat and look at Mex's blog for the spelling.)

They were delicious.

We went spice shopping.

And almost wore out our smellers.

And we petted Boots.

When he put up with it.

We went to see the Globetrotters.

They were entertaining.

And a couple of them were quite acrobatic.

Massage room project: repaint

My massage room has not always conformed to

my favored colors.

It was quite orange-ish, in fact.

UNTIL....

I decided to repaint.

And make that ceiling stand out.

And...here you go.

This here is the color I chose for the walls.

With white trim.

It is done..it is quite cozy.

I'll post the finished product in a future post.

I think I'm in love

People have been asking me about my favorite travel spot.
And I don't have a ready answer.

But I CAN tell you that if it involves the sea,

I'm pretty much sold.

I love the colors.

And I love the variance of the beaches.

The past couple months, I've not only seen beaches covered with sand.

I've seen them covered with colorful pebbles.

I've seen them covered with peices of coral.

I've seen them covered with boulders.

And I like them all.

Ahhhh. Water.
Waves.
Warmth.
