Tulum ruins

I REEEEEAAALLLLY wanted to see some ruins in Mexico.

So, Kerry and Sharon agreed.

And we went to Tulum.

It was a glorious day.

The beach was packed. (I cheated on this photo...this beach was closed.)



And I was happy!

Our exporation also included a stop at the Art Institute.

We had to pick and choose what we viewed.

We walked our breakfast off before we ate it, strolling along the city streets in the chill!
So, it was extra yummy.Escpecially the 'breakfast dessert', a concoction of white chocolate and carmel topped pretzel pancakes.

My friend Heidi called me one day in February and wondered if I'd like to meet her in Chicago.

Of COURSE I said yes.

She haed a room at the Hyatt Regency.

I took this as we were heading out for dinner late the first night.

Mexico for Work

On occasion, I get to travel for work.

I never complain.

This time, it was Mexico.

We found out all about the wedding offerings at 7 of the resorts in the Riviera Maya.

We ate.

We walked.

We saw rooms.

We ate.

We saw mock weddings (and a real one).

We ate.

It was glorious.
